Family Vacation
I am still trying to decide which villa to stay in on my next family trip. My family is from Canada, my brother is working in Cancun and I´ve lived in San Francisco for the last 4 years. We hardly meet on the year so we recently institutionalized the annual 3-week family trip.
This year I´m in charge of deciding where to go, my brother insist on going to Akumal Mexico but I have other plans on mind, although the Caribbean seems like a good choice because it offers big and spacious villas with cleaning service.
My family is huge but this year we´ll only be 8 traveling together, last year we went to India and far from being a relaxing trip it was a very difficult one.
I’ve already found many places to stay in Playa del Carmen but I’ve heard the beach is not as beautiful as in the rest of Riviera Maya, so I’ve also looked for some villas for rent in Puerto Aventuras.
Casa Caleta sounds like a great option but its not on the beach and instead it has a private access to Yalku Lagoon, which is supposedly an alluring colorful lagoon filled with the most exotic aquatic life. The pictures on the web look absolutely great but the fact about not being on the beach makes it unsatisfying. Casa Caleta is the perfect option for those who live on the beach and need a retreat house with privacy and silence. My second option is Casa Maravilla located in Tankha near Tulum, it definitely suites best. I’ll give my family my choice tomorrow expecting approval.
